How it works

1. Install it to yourself
FixEmbed attaches to your Discord profile, not to a server, so it comes with you everywhere and nobody else has to approve anything.
2. Right-click the message
Right-click the message containing the link (long-press on mobile), choose Apps, then Fix Embed. Not the text box, the message itself.
3. The link plays
FixEmbed replies with a rewritten link that Discord can actually render, with the video, author and text intact.
What it fixes
Every platform below is checked automatically every 15 minutes. When an upstream route degrades, FixEmbed reroutes to a backup instead of quietly failing.
YouTube and Spotify are deliberately left alone, because Discord already embeds those correctly and routing them through a proxy would make them worse.

Questions
Does it read my messages?
No. Discord only hands the app the single message you right-click, at the moment you right-click it. It has no message-history permission and cannot read a channel. It is not in your server at all.
Do I need to be a server admin?
No, and that is the point. FixEmbed installs to your Discord account, so it travels with you into every server, DM and group chat, including servers where no admin would ever add a bot.
Do you host or store the videos?
No. FixEmbed never downloads, stores or re-hosts media. It rewrites the link to a service that publishes the correct preview tags, and Discord streams the video from the original platform's own CDN.
What happens when one of those services goes down?
Every route is health-checked every 15 minutes. If a route starts failing, FixEmbed automatically switches that platform to a backup route. Most tools in this category hardcode a single domain and simply break.
What do you store about me?
Your Discord user ID, a daily counter so the free tier works, and your subscription status if you buy Pro. No message content is stored, ever. See the privacy policy.
How do I cancel?
Use the billing link in your payment receipt, or email support. Cancelling stops the renewal and you keep Pro until the period you already paid for ends.
